Journal Entry 1

Dear Journal,
My dad said he wanted me to start recording what I do in you, but so much has already happened, I don’t know where to begin…but I guess the start is the best place as any. My name’s Jayden Cross. I’m currently 13 years old, in the 8th grade, and from Johto, more specifically, Goldenrod City. My brithday’s on January 3rd, I’m a Lucario, obviously, and I…I guess I take things too seriously. That’s what Gaius tells me. Getting past my basic information, I am the youngest of 3. My brother Allo Cross, who is about 7 years older than me, is a Zoroark who’s very skilled with illusions and is quite relaxed, however he’ll still put illusions on others as a joke...which is never funny. My sister, Crystal Cross, Or CC as we use to call her, is a full decade older than me. As you can see, having kids wasn’t a consistent thing with my parents. My mom, Erica, is a Zoroark doctor. She worked day and night shifts for the family, but she also makes quite a bit of money so we got to live good at home since she also cooked homemade things, capable from scratch. She’s also a great therapist with her illusions. My dad, Kazuo, is a Japanese Lucario engineer, and capable of thinking some very strange contraptions that work effectively. He never could focus on a single field, going from electronics, to computer, to biomedical to help out Momma, and more. It was pretty cool to see him able to do so much, and make so much money. You would think with a life like this, I’d be having by far one of the greatest lives ever….well, you’re wrong. My life was more pain than pleasure.

Going to school, I went to private schools in the area I lived in, but they were far from adequate to what I needed. The kids there were assholes to me when I was little. I don’t know if they were too stupid to realize what they were doing in their interactions with me, or something else…then I realized why they treated me differently…like a freak. My eyes…My family all have a very interesting gene making our eyes change. They all mistreated me, called me names, left me out, and anyone that tried to break the status quo got made fun of, so they joined them…leaving me friendless. The only thing I looked forward to was going home. My parents said the reason I couldn’t do online school was because they wanted me to have exposure to other people… though it helped, I sure as hell didn’t like it. This is what caused me to be cold. Every year, no matter where I go…students were assholes to me. The way I saw it, if I can’t ignore them and be left alone, then I’m just going to have be an asshole back. So far that’s what I’ve been doing…even for the ones who tried to be my friend and turned their back on me from peer pressure.
I’d love to elaborate more on this, but I think you get the general picture for now. Talking to you makes me happy, so I’m going to do it more since you understand my pain…or at least, I think you would.

-Jayden Cross
I decided to write Jayden's life from journal entries in his perspective. This will also tell things he won't say himself.
